Protecting Environmental Health in Disasters: An Extension of the Hurricane Dialogues
April 24th & 25th, 2007, Natchez, Mississippi

This 1.5-day workshop engaged key environmental public health leaders in the southeastern region in an analysis of the impact of recent hurricane activity assessing the lessons learned and unresolved issues raised by the storms. Based on the experiences of these environmental public health leaders, this workshop led to a determination of the approaches that work best in natural disaster response.
